1. Was your vehicle worked on by the dealer for the same defect at least 4 times, during the first year or 12,000 miles of your ownership, and it was not finally fixed at the end of the 4th attempt?
There are 4 different definitions of a lemon in the Kentucky Motor Vehicle Lemon Law. If you answer "yes" to any question below, then you have a lemon. Remember, just one "YES" and you may be entitled to your money back or a new vehicle!
Was your vehicle in the dealer’s repair shop for a total of 30 days during the first year or 12,000 miles of your ownership?
3. Did you give them a reasonable number of chances to fix your defects during the warranty period, but defects are still there?
5. Did you give them a reasonable amount of time to fix your defects during the warranty period, but the defects weren’t fixed timely?
